With the NAZ down 7 or 8% on the
week, I don't think any strategy
has worked terribly well.

Jim, I think you just were unlucky. My buy/hold strategy worked because I had biotechs and this was the month. I think Richard comes up with much wiser tech picks and holds. To me this works in a rising market and with quality stocks. The day the market goes south, I would guess that "flipping"/daytrading would work better but it is more work. Still waiting for that day to test. I will know that day because interest rates will be high. Like in most of the 80s. So don't give up entirely on buy/hold yet.

And although I have good gains this month, I would not be surprised to see you catch up next month when your stocks have their day ...

Keep up the good posts. They are good to read.
