I guess you should've been in t-bills instead of gold, eh?

I am content that I sold out of DELL a year ago, especially given the returns of my later investments that replaced it. Yet, as an interested observer on this thread, I find your negativity towards those who still own it to be cruel. I'm sure that there's a psychological term for that affliction, and I guess I need to just accept that your attacks are actually cries for help.

LT you are right if you just bought Dell and held. But if you traded it, you could make T-bill annual percentage every month for the last year! LOL

Cheers

LT,

What a surprise. You and I always seem to post to this thread once a quarter, and yes, its usually at earnings or about earnings. this dog has had slowing growth for more than a year and its finally getting noticed. big money is doing everything they can to protect themselves (ie. 5, I repeat, five upgrades this morning. what a total and complete joke/snow job). And yes, I always have to point out that you and I both stated specifically over a year ago that this stock would never see 55 (110 pre-split) again. It is definitely over for this former favorite of wall street.

Ave Lucretius! Right your are! Some of us are too hard headed to get the message, we see what we like to! I have owned Dell for sometimes and done well! I was waiting for an opportunity to sell, but I didn't get the chance. So, I will keep the stock for now! Having said that, I think Dell will never again regain the momentum it had. The marketing edge Dell had is no longer there. CPQ is hard
on Dell's tail, so are IBM, and HWP. Dell failed to execute
its modle outside of the US market. I live in Europe, and travel often. I have yet to see one single Dell computer
anywhere. Here CPQ is still no.1. In Europe, we are not yet ready to order computers through net or mail. Maybe 10 years
down the raod, but not yet!

There companies that will make an impact on the market and then fade away. I am afraid that Dell is one of those!
I won't be suprised if Dell will not be subject of a merger
or take-over sonner or later!
