This reminds me of the cold war. THQI has the doomsday weapon...Smackdown. It can be released in Q1 and blow the numbers out of the water. But then Q2 may not be that great. Or Smackdown can be released in Q2 and blow those numbers out of the water. What is better? To hold back and have a great weapon in reserve that frightens the enemy or to launch the weapon and create great damage but no longer have the threat of a launch hanging over their heads? Another way to look at this is should the weapon be launched to stem a current attack or should it be launched to support an offensive that is already partially successful? Stay tuned for the answer.
