Sam, I was reading your commments about PvCullenberg and thought I'd add my .02 to the conversation on him. I think he accomplished what he wanted to at Quantum over the years and since the tracking stock wasn't going to make him wealthy partly due to the first DSS melt-down last September he got this offer from InterDigital and overnight he realized a gain that would take him probably two years or more in DSS or HDD options and shares. Either he started a job search earlier in 1999 or over the summer, or he just jumped on a once in a lifetime opportunity. The new company he is part of is priced around $170 right now and DSS will never see that number in a lifetime I feel. It's not a zany Internet stock, just a vague value play. Well, that's my take on PvC. Whether he saw some writing on the wall for the DSS division and DLT growth in particular is hard to tell. He knew 2000 would bring more competition, but was given the incredible overnight millionaire opportunity at InterDigital and took it. I would have done the same if I were he. Looks like a no-brainer.
