but where would you put a chuck of money, say for the next 4 years: Intel or AMD (or neither!).

Point taken, but I think that the present strategies may differ from what has gone on before - on both sides.

It will be an interesting year. I'm still predicting AMD at $280 by year end. I hope I'm not too far off (unless I'm low!)
