Jim, that would normally be the case. There are a few IPO's on offer at DIR: NATCO, priced tonight at 10 from range 10-12 VarsityBooks.com, range 12-14, 2/10 VIA NET.WORKS, range 15-17, 2/10 FASTNET Corp., range 10-12, Wk of 2/7 I suggest you pick one and try out the allocation system if you have not done so yet. I have responded to all 4 and reconfirmed Natco just now. I will know in the morning whether they allocate any to me. I tend to think that they favor the frequent participants. My friend picks and chooses which one to bid and he has a much lower chance of getting allocation even though his account is bigger than mine. Just an FYI. PM me if you need help in the process. Rich
