Dear Mephisto:

You shouldn't permit the market to scare you. Just put it on a scale. When fear outweighs profit, then sell. If your desire for profit outweighs fear, then hold.

Either way, good luck. You'll do the right thing, I'm sure.

Best wishes,

Tecinvestor

This market scares the zinga out of me
Why? Is is because the Nasdaq hasn't set a record high for two weeks? Come on now! We are D**M lucky to be in the market during the greatest bull market since Pax Romana. It's not over yet, We're just roaring along, coming up to that election curve so driver Greenspan is pressing gently on the brake. We'll be tearing down the straight away in no time. My only worry is next year, if the vehicle gets nitro-fueled by a big tax break we may well hit the inflation wall. If I see that event I will substitute a crash dummy for my position in the race.

IF the market scares you, then you probably need to be in safer financial instruments.
