Dear Tech, Thanks for the clarification. I never imagined US anti-trust laws would be applied to a company that did not make its home in the US.

I wonder if JDSU would want to be taken over. Do you know very much about management?

JDSU is an American company---headquartered in San Jose,CA.
JDS Fitel was a Canadian company. After the merger with Uniphase, it has been an American company.

BTW--i still like to think it is Canadian but technically that is not the case.
