There was a big spike down on OEX at 3:15.

Note the discrepancy between the daily range and the low on the graph. My data source has the same low as the low point on the graph, so I'm sticking with it.

Otherwise, 30 on the VIX would have been close to a buy signal according to the BB.

qcharts only shows a spike to 28... but other srcs also show the 31 spike.
