many sell the appreciated option and put it all back into a further expiration and higher strike, but not always on a pullback...this is what i thought you meant.

before any investing, especially with a finite instrument as options you must first learn your risk tolerance. if you are concerned, and have a profit, and going to cash will ease your mind, then do it...just don't look back...look forward as new opportunity always presents itself. no one every became poor, taking even the most meager of profits.
