Those that have better memories help me here but Siebel and crew spent many years putting together their first app in the sales support side of the business. When it came time to go after the customer service arena and cause convergence in the two markets they purchased Scopus and then spent another year (or more?) integrating/rewriting Scopus to meld into their existing product. And Siebel is well known to work their people - very, very, very hard. Start to finish was several years. One of those 7-8 years of damn hard work 'overnight' success kinds of stories <g>
