BearDown--Regarding the post where the gentleman describes his son's class being visited by an eDigital employee who talked about new technology? This really isn't a debatable issue, is it? Rather, that post is a prime example of what the SI boards are all about.

Is not our purpose here to share snippets of information from a wide range of sources? And don't we find many of these snippets as helpful hints, particularly when we're able to connect them with something else? And don't we find many of these snippets as diversionary or distractive, such that we end up barking up the wrong tree? But, either way, if sincerely generated, it's good to share that information.

I'm glad the information was posted. On a scale of quality, perhaps you can match that post with many of the accusations from the shorties, who've had a field day presenting unproven, non-evidentially supported allegations about the company. Why match it up that way? Because it's not "official" information. Just like 99 percent of the shorter's information doesn't come from being part of a formal record of facts.

I find it interesting you folks will complain about an eDigital employee's classroom visit, but think our complaints about the shorter's accusations are out of bounds.

So, overall, I disagree with you. I thought it was a good post and fit very well into the function of what Silicon Investor is all about.
