To all: Mike R. was interviewed by Bloomberg over in Switzerland this morning at 7:10am. Dont recall his exact words but he was VERY positive about the companies growth. Didnt hear the word 25% instead heard Doubling.HAHA
Anyhow the interesting part I listened to and do remember was the competition. First he was asked about IBM and he replied they were no threat at all. Then he was asked well who are your competitors in your mind. He answered Hitachi first (because Hitachi is copying their systems) and SUNW second. In the case of Hitachi he said EMC is at least 3 years ahead of them and likely will stay that way as Hitachi just doesnt have the ability to develop the complex software needed. In the case of SUNW, he said he ranked them second in competition as SUNW is still defining what they want out of their storage package. JDN
