Dear Steve: This thread has over 15,000 posts. Your questions has been addressed hundreds of times. If you wish to find out why the technicians and "people in the know" on this thread think SUNW products will dominate going forward, I suggest that you do some of your own research by reviewing previous posts. After you dig through the thousands of posts, then you can come back with some very specific and good questions. Your question was totally to open-ended. Be more specific and I think that the thread will treat you with respect. You have not earned it yet. All, IMO.
