JimC1997

We know you well enough to recognize you are different than they. Never thought they lacked intelligence. They're just low class with inflated views of themselves and varying degrees of success. They obviously haven't forgotten the pain of some of their earlier long misadventures. I can understand that from a personal experience I had in 1993-94. I'm much more attuned to how stocks trade as well as their fundamentals.

Found it easy to buy this am in the 10.30's. I do not know the poster, JMORALES, who cited the experience of his 'kid' at Stanford. I find many of the students at universities studying CSc. often enter with a huge base of self-taught and practiced experience that often blows the faculty away.

Our son was such in the 80's and now works for Netscape with sales groups offering huge e-commerce enterprise systems to the Fortune 100.

Best to all:

Nice post, Jim. Indeed, sometimes it becomes necessary for us to 'reengineer' ourselves. (LOL)

I'd like to see the high ground myself. I,too, will do my best to be there.

Hi Jim, all:

I second that. CM Burns is right too when he comments re. some of the stuff longs throw out--like that tampon stuff. No place for it here.

Although I disagree w/ him re. EDIG's potential, he has always kept the personal stuff out of the discussion--unlike our dearly departed nemesis. I too have gotten down in the mud and slung some too. Pluvia's garbage needed response, but I do wish SI had put a lid on him/us earlier.

I guess that's why I don't think Libertarianism works--even the best of us need a little outside control from time to time <<gg>>.

It's easy to get caught up in the frenzy. It's distracting from our mutual objectives--to make money.
And, after all, we are supposed to be more civil on SI, aren't we, than that cabal over at RB and Yahoo?

EDIG looks good today in a crappy market. Any thoughts re. short covering, or are new buyers coming in? A bounce or a sustained recovery? Me? Certainly some shorts taking $$$ off the table. Beyond that, I don't have a clue.

It will be interesting if the overall market is finally getting spooked after a couple of fakes. If so, we could be in for a tough year unless one is a good stock picker. Is EDIG one of those picks? I guess I know what most of you all here think. Take care,

Jim
