It is more than the FED. The EURO is @ par with the dollar, and that ain't good for US exports to Europe. It ain't good for Europe either, no one wants their b/s paper. And this oil thing isn't going away anytime soon. Geopolitical meltdowns looming.

One of my kids just mentioned it at dinner, that it sure is expensive to fill-up his car now. I told him not to worry, the account I manage for him has been long some oil futures, so it could go to 10 bucks a gallon and he would still be just fine.

The trend this week has been an end of day dump. I see no reason not to expect the same today. (I am a heavy put owner in comp, qqq, dow, stacked on all kinds of strikes, since Monday) all are way in the money, and we haven't even seen a decent dump yet.
