Now, that sounds like something that could get the copyright police out looking for you. <g>

Have you heard about the music industry suits against MP3.com? Apparently, MP3.com has some software that you load, then put in a CD into your CD-Rom drive. It checks the index against a database on their server. If it's there, then you can log into MP3.com and listen to the CD (which presumably you paid for and are licensed to use) from anyplace you have a net connection. Seems the music folks don't like that. I'm not sure what their heartburn is, since the CD owner has already paid for the license and all he/she is getting is delivery of the tunes over the internet rather than having to lug the CD around.

My DISH has taken ill these last few days.
