I posted a message on this on the (not very active) Transmeta thread, summarizing the pretty steep cuts, in
Message 12680511 . I assume the primary target there was AMD, but I also wonder if this is another piece of the cumine supply puzzle. Are the mobile PIII's cumine parts also, off the .18 lines? The speed range listed here fits in with the bin split theory, but presumably there's some mask differences with the mobile parts? Maybe process tweaks too?
