Actually, those bonuses would be captured on BLS' calculation, IF that company fell in the survey and it was reported correctly.

Those surveys have all sorts of glitches. One summer I worked at my Dad's manufacturing company and got stuck filling out a couple of 'em because I had taken some accounting classes the prior quarter. -g- The woman that had historically prepared them was about 80 years old and had only a glimmer of a clue what she was doing. She had the job because she needed it, everyone felt sorry for her and they just gave her tasks that wouldn't screw up the actual business too bad. Were her reports a joke. -g-
