I agree with you about Europeans being different and that it doesn't mean they're any better, smarter or dumber than American consumers... I live in Argentina and it is the same down here... People still aren't comfortable buying big ticket items over the internet... If DELL is to do their jobs correctly in these markets they must get out and educate and convince European, Latin American, Asian, consumers that they have nothing to fear and everything to gain buy taking advantage of DELL's direct model... and then they have to DELIVER what they promise... I think DELL can do this and that it's not going to take 10 years to acomplish...

Yaacov: Why then doesn't a sharp fellow like yourself open a small shop in an industrial park outside of Milano and order in Dell cpu's for walk in haglers. If they are used to paying 2x that gives you plenty of margin. Ciao. JFD
