When does the Fed meet to determine the interest rate hike? Stock performance might be limited 'til then. Although, I wonder how much has been factored into the price already -- 25 or 50 basis points? Could be near the low ... could go lower ... how to tell?

T2,

You know, I have a lot of fun in this thread. (Some of it at my own expense!!!) But seriously:

I really hope my concerns regarding the overall market and the vulnerability of JDSU are completely wrong. I made a bundle and, heck, the worse that can happen to me now is that it would go up and up and I'd miss another bundle. I can live with that and even eat some crow.

I am really concerned, though, that this current 'action' is not simply a pull-back as we've seen previously. I think it reflects a real sea change. As I wrote above I hope I am wrong because if my concerns are truly reflective of the way the markets are going, there will be a lot of people hurt. Some will be hurt badly. Especially those who bought recently on the theory that they were safe buying today because tomorrow there'd be somebody who would be willing to pay more.

With all good wishes,
David Todtman
