When euro/dollar hit 1 last year there was talk of the euro dipping to $0,96. It seems the officials are currently trying to talk up the euro at the World Economic Forum in Davos. One official seeing 1,25 as a fair rate. But as history shows, officials hardly ever succeeded in talking up a currency.
