Sign of the times
I ve never thought the market could hold up as well as it did this week, but is this the beginning of a correction?
Nasdaq down 11.7%
DJI down 5.8%
It wasn't too long ago that this would have been considered a correction, or at least the better half of one.
YAHOO indicated a confrence call on 1/27 for PROG. Did this call take place? If so, anyone listen to it?
Best Regards,

Don't ask me, Bosco. I covered my RMBS short and sold my S&P puts because I expect a small rally next week, but I kept my QQQ short, and still have covered calls out on some other long positions. My main forecast was falling long term bond rates, which have happened. Too bad I didn't ever figure out how to play it.

I do tend to agree with Zeev that we won't see a strong recovery until late March. I just expect the market to go up slightly next week, followed by more weakness. I don't see a recession or anything major. I doubt the S&P will fall below 1300 or the dow below 10k. The big mystery is whether the DOT will break. I think the DOT will hold for a few more weeks of sideways action before finally breaking.
