Nadine,

This is the scenario. CNBS, WSW and the other Wall St. mouth pieces will convince everyone and his mother that 1/2 percent is on the way. That way when it comes in at 1/4 they can create a buying frenzy. That's the way the game is being played on earnings, economic releases etc... All good news is good news and all bad news is spun. Our financial system is about public manipulation. It's not about responsible reporting and facts. Bubble maintenance....that's the ticket.

Nadine, i agree basically on the assessment of what bubble boy will do. but don't forget that in the end, markets are always stronger than even the most accomplished manipulators. when the Nikkei broke, the government intervened openly in the market and it didn't help one bit. the election's no panacea, in fact considering that so many people believe it is, it may have the opposite effect this time around. i just heard Al Gore voice his new era beliefs on CNBC...he strikes me as a bit of a simpleton....
