Rande: I am starting small buys in several "value' plays. Choosing between EMLX, TLAB, ORCL, CMGI, TXN and AOL. All of them stocks I don't mind holding if the sell-off continues through Monday. In fact, if it does, I'll increase my positions.

OMKT...remarkable strength today. After setting all-time high yesterday of 55 1/4, it dipped to 49 and is now back up to 54 3/4 (with NAZ down 170).

Good advice on separating accounts, Rande. The key is purely psychological and I solve that by segregating tracking portfolios. Same thing but I gain the advantage of having one larger account for credit purposes.

OT-Going to Atlanta tomorrow to do a private Superbowl party with the band "Chicago."
