Nothing that is unusually dramatic. The GDP was up 5.8% for the quarter thus there are those who now expect a half point interest rate rather than a quarter. (Needless to say, nobody has yet looked at the low inflation numbers). There was also a hugely successful IPO in a company called 724 Solutions an Internet company dealing in wireless palm top solutions for banking and dealing transactions. Issued at $26, it is hovering right now at the $70-$75 level. Major shareholders include the Bank of America, Citibank Bank of Montreal, Sonera and Wells Fargo.
