Does anyone know the definition of a "pyramid scheme"? Well, here in San Diego it's synonymous with Dominelli, a scandal that may have out-Ponzied Ponzi. No dummy, Dominelli hired Del Mar's ex-mayor, the tall blonde Nancy Hoover, whose IQ was double his, and together they bilked millions, if not billions, out of unsuspecting investors --- all under the nose of the SEC. Dominelli ended up in prison where I believe he had a stroke and died, and Nancy ended up married to a Montecito billionaire with one foot conveniently in the grave and got her hand slapped with community service in lieu of prison. Fascinating story. Gotta run. Linds just walked in the door. Pat
