El, Look at a DOW chart. The current trend line looks like a dive bomber trajectory zeroed in on a carrier stack. Then add the FOMC 1/2% panic, and confusing reports coming out of the analyst meeting. Next week we get clearer analyst reports and a 1/4% rate hike. The market will be relieved and have a rally. The image of Compaq will start changing for the better. Of course, Monday could be tough. More people running for cover, but shorts will want to cover before the FOMC Tuesday. That should slow things down some. NW
