PB,

re:"mhz ramp bet"

Well i might just be willing to take that bet!!!

I expect willy to be higher performance than mustang on a clk by clk basis as well its mutli-threading support.

I suspect a toss up in the raw Mhz race with a decent edge to AMD.

So what are we betting!!!

regards,

Kash

PB,

<Whatever. If you actually read a post from Ten in Dec. about having lunch with me, and my posts from when I returned in early Jan., I don't think my posts are inconsistent.>

BS. I challenge you to find a single post of yours - before Intel press release - that talks about 800MHz getting to volume production in February.

Chuck

<Fair enough. Let me be more plain. I anticipate that a new microarchitecture coupled with the process advances Intel has made will put Willamette squarely ahead of AMD in MHz by the end of the year. I.e., I'll bet.>

Which MHz are you talking about: Integer, FP or SSE? Or you don't have a clue, just shooting your mouth?

You really irk me PB. You sound like an official paid Intel mouthpiece. You never deviate from the party line and on top of that you seem to be incompetent in finer details. Here is how you participate in technical discussions: "I could have not said it better myself", or "I beg to differ", or "see you at 1.2GHz". Your tirades sound like a bunch of PR BS.

Your posts are so repetitive and uninformative that when I read them I miss Dr. Pretzel.
