The sale of common stock in a private placement for proceeds of US$1,000,000 was by a European consortium. On January 26th, 2000 the company made an initial draw down of US$500,000. The proceeds of the offering are expected to be sufficient to meet all expenditures for its pilot manufacturing facility and meet its operating expenses for approximately eight months.
