Jenna: It didn't occur to me on Monday to sell every stock I owned. I'd be up another 12% overall if I had. Do you see a rebound for next week or more of the same ? Up 288.5% for the year so far, so no complaints.

wow -- today was one of those rare days I'm glad I a) went golfing so didn't panic sell b) was free c) was almost 50 <ggg> ..had a feeling this might happen when all this talk about "margin debt" was mounting ...it's like writing a blank cheque to the big boys ..who have enormous funds coming in for RSPs/IRAs and so decide to put in the "program selling" to drive down all their favourites...of course this is just my theory and I've seen it before, so it doesn't surprise me one iota.. ..rest assured, all..there will be the same battle among the big boys to see who can pick up their favourites first..and then we'll all be up again... ..have a great weekend all..next week will be better..grit those teeth and hang on..if you're on margin, just sell enough to cover (but spread it around your portfolio) ..the economy is in great shape and there are trillions of dollars waiting on the sidelines ..I'm sure they'll buy some of ours! (poor Doc this weekend)
