I completely agree with your point about the stability of the long bonds. This is a big part of the reason why I have stayed nearly fully invested and mostly long.

We actually have an inverted curve - the 30 years were yielding less than the 5 years last time I checked. Maybe a function of reduced supply of the very long term bonds?

Something of a flight to safety today - the bond swap-spread widened, and pharmas seemed about the only strong spot in the equity market. Actually kind of healthy in the long term for the market overall, although of course it was far from pleasant today for most biotechs.
