Because from my point-of-view, a Willamette "worst-case scenario" will match or even beat an Athlon "best-case scenario," reasonably speaking. Obviously, I can only speak from my own point-of-view, but I think my judgement is sound. And of course, I don't know whether AMD has anything else planned for Mustang and Sledgehammer than what they already announced. All I know is that AMD better have something more planned for Mustang and Sledgehammer if they want to match up to Willamette.

Tenchusatsu, and who knows if AMD and/or Intel are hedging on the performance of one or any of those chips. Its only in the past 3 mos. have I realized the quality of the Athlon chip. It will be interesting to see where we are at the end of this year.
