I will be shocked if a takeover is announced by Monday. IMO, there is some takeover froth in the current quote -- but, it is froth ONLY because the street hates management track record.

If NN could pull off a name change on its own this weekend, it would probably shoot up 20 or 30 pts on Monday.

I believe NN will move up smartly, on its own, if the quarter is solid. With or without a takeover, NN is a "gift" at the current price. Keeping my fingers crossed, of course. :-)

Anyone looking for takeover(I mean big boys), most likely will be asking question where company is heading at February 22 CC.
I would think that NN would like to merge by the end of January if they have problems with execution and products in current Q3.
However, new products are ramping up and execution may be better then most think.

Time will tell
