RAW CLOCK, OF COURSE!

Integer and FP are benchmarks.

SSE is a feature.

MHz is MHz.

Is this why you don't work at Intel anymore?

Seriously, are you expecting PB to answer that question? The man doesn't go far beyond public domain statements from Intel and the frequency ratio is not public domain yet.

I haven't read through all the responses, yet, but you are embarrassing yourself. Integer, floating point, and SSE are all just different types of instructions that manipulate different types of data (or data sets, in the case of SSE (SIMD)). There is only one clock, at one Mhz speed, that runs the whole chip. Integer benchmarks exercise the integer instructions, possibly including MMX, while floating point benchmarks exercise floating point instructions, possibly including SSE and 3DNow!, but all of these instructions are moved through their pipes at the same clock frequency.
