yep...i also happen to think that the future growth estimates for wireless are far from a certainty. admittedly it's hard to say what the prospects for appliances aside from the cell-phone are. but the major industrial economies seem to me to be close to saturation w/regards to cell phones. all the hype over the internet and it's endless growth prospects also happens to overlook the crucial fact that the day has only 24 hours. the internet won't change that (see, it doesn't change 'everything' <gggg>).
the overfunding is certainly a fact of life in that arena as well. all those ISP's, router makers, you name it...there will be a big shake-out eventually. as usual it will be very hard to determine who will and who won't be shaken out. i expect that even some of today's seemingly invulnerable tech giants will eventually face trouble, similar to what happened to some of the early '70's 'nifty fifty' one-decision stocks.
