Compaq CEO Details Confident 2000 Growth Outlook
By Eric Auchard
dailynews.yahoo.com

From the article
Rick Schutte, a financial analyst with Goldman Sachs, said he was impressed with Compaq's openness, but would likely wait for the company to demonstrate it can execute its strategy over the next quarter or two before he advises clients to buy the stock.

He said he found particularly convincing the company's argument that the Internet market was shifting to Compaq's broad mix of powerful transaction-handling computers, Web servers and Internet access devices.

``It's a very interesting story because there's a lot of opportunity here,' Schutte said, ``But there are also a lot of challenges.'

I don't know about you, but I'm sitting on a big pile of cash after a bunch of covered call options were exercised last week and a bunch of BRKT, SIII, DIIG, LSI were called away from me at HUGE profits....Of course, I still have more of them (only sold covered calls on a portion of my holdings), but now I also have a stockpile of cash....took advantage of today's dip in INTC to sell some Jan 2001 $120 puts for nearly $31 each....

I'm hoping for some more selling pressure in this FAT HOG OF A BLOATED MARKET before I really start buying heavily....

BRKT and LDP showed great strength today....those should be at the top of your buy list....

Jimbo.
