Have you had general success with that sort of investing? In particular, have you done better than broad index funds would have done in the same period? This sort of investing is alien to me -- I invest in a handful of companies based on my feeling about their markets and technology, and for the rest I just leave the money in mutual funds with good long-term records. But I wonder from time to time if I should try to learn more about some kinds of technical analysis...
