Chuck, looked in Fry's last night and five days ago and the CuMine 800 systems are gone. In fact only one CuMine (an HP 650 MHz) desktop system. All K6=2's except a crappy E-Machines system are 500 or 533, five Athlons from 500 to 700 MHz. I also overheard salesmen hyping K6-2-450 notebook and Athlon 700 systems.

Sounds like Engel better send a hit squad down to San Diego for "re-education."

thechipmerchant.com now has Athlon 800 in stock and there's three local dealers advertising 800 MHz Athlon systems in the ComputorEdge.
