I think I read somewhere that for every $20 book AMZN sells, it costs them 6 bucks. That makes a lot of business sense..

Anyway, it has been a long time since I posted here, and I went short with puts the dow, qqq, comp, and spx Monday.

Yup. The emperor has no clothes.

The Businessman of the Year has rapidly ramped sales, by piling up debt to finance a huge advertising budget, spending vast amounts on warehouses and inventory, so he can satisfy customers, by selling a commodity at below cost. Customers are happy. What about shareholders?

from the article: "it's the customers that Bezos wants to impress. He speaks about Amazon becoming "Earth's most customer-centric company.'"

I want to invest in companies that are shareholder-centric.
