Heinz, I think you miss the main point - how WS makes money - from volatile and hyped stocks.

How much WS makes from 80 year old aunt Anzi who bought KO, G Ford, AT&T 40 years ago and still holds it in her portfolio?? By selling a little to complement her pension???

Stock option stocks and convertible debt is a powerful and profitable transaction wen IV is over 50% to 70%

Only if the hype dies than will AMZN ability to borrow die.
