Retail stores threaten to get out of the music business?
Sounds like Livery Stables threatening to stop servicing the transport industry if carts continue to be fitted with internal combustion engines rather than horses.

PS I once watched a "Discovery"-type video about how the internal combustion engine replaced horse-drawn vehicles. They took a good deal of their time explaining how horse turds were the anthama of the time. Odd that they didn't mention the fact that machines could easily out-pace horses. I suppose that the same writers spend their time today worrying about how smog smells a lot like horse feces in Summer.

Of course, most of them have spent so much time in the "city" and so little time smelling the roses, that they have never smelled an actual horse turd in Summer. IMHO, horses should be given credit for their turds. The real awards should go to cows .. who make up the majority of the flatulent universe.

And for those of you who think that I speak out of turn, come drive with me for a Summer in San Bernardino (CA) ... as we pass though valleys of wet pasture ... between the horse farms and the cow farms, capped by LA smog.
