Politicians take money from everyone. What's wrong with working together with the 'system'? Petroleum companies are made of people also. WE ALL have to breathe the same air , notice that an advanced zero emissions fuel cell company is an exhibitor at the:

SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers)
International Petroleum Conference
Villahermosa, Tabasco Mexico
Feb 1 - 3 2000

"Join top energy industry engineers, managers, and other professionals from around the world at the Society of Petroleum Engineers IPCEM, 1 - 3 February 2000."

You were probably right to lock in your profit - but not because of the petroleum companies. The eventual winners are hard to spot - although Ballard would have to be on the short list.
