Ok then a stock that acts like MAI seems to be doing and looks like it will keep going up all year should have a special woody alert. This must be reserved for very special stocks. At the risk of offending other people in the trailer park I suggest we have another name for this type of alert so we don't miss it amongst all the other woody alerts ... how about ...

Dirk Diggler Woody Alert?

Kind of disgusting but it gets your attention.

Lola:)

re: Woody alert levels

We have to have a way of knowing exactly how close the stock is to exploding ... we should know if it's hours, minutes or seconds.

C'mon Lola...If we knew that, every one of us on this
thread would be millionires...You've been around long
enough to know that 99% of the time it's "seconds"...

Yes and no, no and yes. While it's true that only liars can pick bottoms and tops, any mechanical alert system scanning these pennies would have:

1. Noticed the build over 6 closes from .20 to .44
with 3 gaps in its wake.
2. Lit up the board on Friday just after lunch.

Personally, I would/am not scanning for stuff at this price, with so few trades and little volume, especially in a stock where the 4 up days of note were driven by a single broker.

Cheers. --Allan
