Dear NW: I dont follow the DOW as carefully as I do the NASDAQ as most of my stocks are in the technology area. However, if we have an overall 15% correction for the highs I think that number is a little low but not out of the ball park. As for the NASDAQ we are now down about 10% from the previous week all time high (as is my portfolio) thus further dip not to exceed 200 pts. is in the ballpark in my judgement. I however, do not see this decline lasting an extended period. Now, I am not saying its only going to last days but I do believe that the measurement period will be weeks or months not years. Bye this year end I suspect the NASDAQ will be at least 4,500 or about 5% above its highs of this year. I say this as overall tech stock profits should be very good and even allowing some slippage in the PE ratios we can expect improvement in prices. JDN
