mike: I would agree with you that the danger of todays economic situation is deflation. The cost of oil is soaking up so much $ that we don't have to worry about interest rate hikes to soak up cash. So we will have plenty of goods and not a lot of disposable income. We should worry about interest rates because if AG raises rates too aggressively i.e. more than 1/4 of a point he will push us into recession.JFD
