Aloha Morgan! Sorry, I didn't mean to "provoke" you into a treatise in defense of your position. Hey, I thought we agreed to disagree. I understand you position and understood it several months ago, I simply disagree. As for whether long term stock holders of Nite have been rewarded, perhaps we should ask a long term shareholder, perhaps one who bought about 15 months ago when the split adjusted price was $2. Let's see now, that's a 1600% return in 15 months, pretty good wouldn't you say? Of course if you bought in at 60-80 when NITE was so far ahead of itself (stock price wise) because it was seen as another dot com phenom, thinking you were in for some rocket ride, you would of course be disappointed. Bad stock trade timing is not something NITE should spend even one second worrying about (except in the business, where they seemingly are masters <gg>). Personally my time horizon on this stock is 2-3 years, all the price fluctuations in the interim, (and they are extreme as the NITE story slowly unfolds and investors come to understand it and the day traders come and go), are just so much noise to me. Look, KP is a trader, he probably knows more about trading than anyone on this or any other thread could hope to learn. He's not about to endanger the success of this company to provide the hype that short term traders believe they are entitled to. He, better than anybody understands the trader mentality, that's why this company is putting up such wonderful numbers. You may believe that the same kind of promotion and hype that drive the entertainment business, where most careers are measured in months or a few years, is fully applicable to this business, I do not. So, we agree to disagree and my guess is that in five years NITE will still be standing, with handsomely rewarded shareholders and Amazon will be remembered as that company that burned brilliantly for a brief time and its shareholders will get only to write off their losses on that year's tax returns. I have to say though, you sure win the word count battle!!! Good luck and good investing. Cheers Alohal
