Hi Harry,

In CA..we pay dearly for short term gains. Maximum federal tax is 39.6% (above 283K) + 9% state tax. For long term capital gains it is 20%. So, if one believes in the company for atleast 12 months there is no real reason to sell it. I never considered tax for selling (investment) stocks but I am going to change this year if my entry is right. I will probably make use of options if available.
