Hi all, I'm trying to do the rear brakes on my 1996 Chrysler mini-van, normally there is a adjustment screw so you can loosen the brake linings so you can take off the drum, but I can't find one. What is the trick for getting them off? Is there a site on the net that could help me?

Thanks,

Greg

You know what annoys me about autos? It's the renaming of certain parts of the car for the purpose of marketing.

Eg:

Side Impact Beams. Also known as reinforcement bars, in the doors of cars and now trucks. These are NOT new. They are in trucks, but have been in cars for decades.

Bounce Back Bumpers. A fancy name for urethane bumper covers. Not new, been around since the 70's.

Polymer Panels. WOW, that sounds very high tech. I just had my sewer lines replaced from root damage, the old sewer pipes were made of ceramic, the new pipes are plastic, or Polymer to make it sound more high tech.

I just get a kick out of parts that have been in cars for years, sometimes decades and the parts are renamed to make them sound like brand new technology.
