Mehrdad, I have never disagreed with you about the value in COMS. I continue to disagree with you about COMS (sans PALM) long term. I also will disagree with you regarding your assessment of other companies in the communications sector since it's clear your understanding of the issues is minimal at best. I continue to hold COMS I've got nearly a quadripple in my leaps and nearly a double in my stock position. However I have been in and out along the way. During this time I have a quad in JDSU, a triple in SDLI, and double in BRCM, a near double in CSCO, a near quad in MRVC...and the list goes on. My point is just because you're doing well with all your eggs in one basket doesn't mean your investment is accruring any faster than others around you. There are other investments with better return and I have argued this all along the way. COMS is a good investment - PALM IPO will create value. COMS cash position and investments limits our downside risk. Beyond that your smoking crack. As for misinformation... I will admit to not being knowledgable regarding MOT and LU's purchase of IWF from COMS. This was ignorance on my part but other than that I've couched my positions when in fact I didn't have all the background. You should consider doing the same - especially when someone asks you about CSCO - a subject you clearly know nothing about. Furthermore - I am man enough to admit my faults (as I did with the IWF above). You on the other hand are apparently god's gift to investing. Nuf said... I'll return the thread back to usual discussion... This discourse would never had occurred if you had kept your mouth shut regarding topics you have no business discussing. talk about misinformation... sheesh. OG
